Primary product is gathered in ecologically clean mountain regions of Armenia and cultivated in a traditional way, without chemical actions.


Preparation instructions:

Use 1 teabag per cup,

allow to brew for 1-2 minutes..


Ingrediends: milled pomegranate flower, thyme, wild mint, chamomile and herba hyperici.


Pomegranate flower has bitter and tart taste. That's why we slightly soften it by combining with other tea herbs.

Pomegranate is a small tree up to 5 meter in height. The large and attractive pomegranate flowers are orange-red.

Pomegranate plant parts are used traditionally for the treatment of various disorders. Roots, bark, flowers, fruits and seeds of Pomegranate – they all have medicinal properties in them.

However, only pomegranate flower has been prescribed in Unani("Greek Medicine", is a form of traditional medicine widely practiced in South Asia) and Ayurvedic (Ayurvedic medicine is a system of traditional medicine native to India and a form of alternative medicine) medicines for the treatment of diabetes.

The seed and flower of the pomegranate fruit may possess properties capable of lowering blood sugar, potentially benefiting patients with hyperglycemia and diabetes. A 2007 "Journal of Medicinal Food" report acknowledges the hypoglycemic activity of pomegranate seeds, flowers and juice and identifies three antioxidant acids as among their potentially anti-diabetic constituents.

According to a 2008 "Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism" review, practitioners of the two medical sciences of India, Ayurveda and Unani, prescribe pomegranate flower to treat diabetes. The review's authors suggest that certain compounds in pomegranate flower called PPARs may be responsible for this effect, noting that PPARs are involved in regulating blood sugar balance and that synthetic PPARs are commonly used to treat hyperglycemia, among other metabolic disorders.

Steven D. Ehrlich, N.M.D.,from the University of Maryland Medical Center warns, however, that people with diabetes should not drink pomegranate juice or any fruit juice without their doctor's prior approval.

In laboratory tests, pomegranate shows antiviral, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties.

To date, a medication that may combine the beneficial metabolic effects of PPARs activation with fewer undesirable side effects has not been successfully developed.

Pomegranate has been used in folk medicine for millennia. For example, the pomegranate fruit is used for reducing cough. The flower of the fruit is to be kept in sun and dried, make it as powder and taken with hot water. To enhance memory power the dried flower buds of pomegranate are powdered, rolled into small pills and taken a pill thrice a day.

Indeed, the delicious, healthy and easy-to-make tea with pomegranate flower can be used instead.
